Lowell National Historical Park River Walk as imagined 200 years ago, when the Lowell Textile Mills (the cradle of the US industrial revolution) employed thousands of ‘Mill Girls’ who frequented peaceful walkways along the Merrimack River for a quiet stroll on a rare day off.
